Everyone has different variations of eyebrows so, to say one style or form fits all is false advertisement.
I worked in a pretty posh salon and learned from a lady they addressed as "The Eyebrow Specialist". Throughout the salon and behind closed doors we nicknamed her the eyebrow nazi. If she did her magic on your brows andyou tried to do the keep up yourself she noticed. I feel madly in love with her! She was older woman who was barely over five foot and had a extremely strong Latin accent. Everyday I reminded her of what a amazing woman she was and how I had a huge need to watch and learn from her legacy. In between my own appointments I would often run upstairs and sneak in to watch the genius do her work.
She taught me the arch of your brow should start directly above your pupil, I also learned your brow should start at the curve towards your nose. With a stick from the end of your nose it should line up at a diagonal angle with the ending of the brow.

So, that brings in my next question which is best and has more longevity? Waxing? Shaving? Or tweezing? My own personal opinion is to use eyebrow razors and keep up with stragglers that pop up when least expected. Waxing became expensive after awhile but, once you are waxed by a actual Eyebrow Specialist it's best to use a razor to keep the amazing shape for months. Depending on how often you do this it could be the remedy to your eyebrow nightmares.
I prefer getting waxed in a actual spa and not a nail salon, I understand the price cut but, you do get what you pay for!!!
Eyebrow razors can be found at any drug store for 3.00 max!! I placed a photo to show what your looking for, if you have other questions feel free to contact me.
